There are pairs that are worn, and others that are lived. This Nike x G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE Air Force 1 Low “Para-Noise 2.0” (2020) belongs to the latter category: an iconic silhouette, dressed in a deliberately “sacrificial” white, designed to evolve over time and reveal, through wear, a hidden artwork.
In the photographs, everything is there: white leather upper covered with a coating, black Swoosh, extra-thick black laces, and this signature detail that captures light like a seal, the PEACEMINUSONE daisy on the tongue. The interior features a graphic/graffiti patterned insole, while the whole is presented with its original packaging: black Nike box (embossed logo, grip hole), paper, daisy tag, as well as the visible/mentioned accessories on the sheet (additional laces and tips). A sneaker collector's piece with a clean look, but with a rare narrative depth.

Heritage of a streetwear icon
The story of the Nike Air Force 1, from NBA courts to global culture
When designer Bruce Kilgore created the first Air Force 1 in Nike's workshops in Beaverton in 1982, he was still unaware that he had just signed one of the most influential silhouettes in the history of sports and fashion. Originally designed as a professional basketball shoe, the Air Force 1 is the very first sneaker to incorporate Nike Air technology—this unit of pressurized air hidden under the heel, which would revolutionize cushioning and usher the American brand into a new technological era. The name, chosen by Nike, directly references the presidential airplane of the United States: a promise of height, prestige, and elevation.
Very quickly, the Air Force 1 transcended the basketball court. Adopted in the mid-1980s by the communities of Harlem in New York, it inherited the legendary nickname "Uptowns" and became the emblem of an unprecedented urban elegance—one of minimal, immaculate, almost ritual luxury. Hip-hop embraced it passionately: from Jay-Z to Nelly, through the pioneers of New York rap and, later, the London grime scene, the white silhouette with the Swoosh became a cultural marker as powerful as a musical signature. Over 1,700 colorways would emerge over the decades, making the Air Force 1 one of the best-selling and most collaborative sneakers of all time.
Since the 2000s, the Air Force 1 has also become a favored canvas for major collaborations between Nike and the worlds of art, music, and luxury—from Roc-A-Fella to CDG, from Travis Scott to Off-White. It is precisely in this tradition that the Nike x G-Dragon (PEACEMINUSONE) Para-Noise 2.0 collaboration, launched in November 2020, fits: the meeting of the most iconic silhouette of American sportswear and one of the most influential figures in the South Korean art scene, leader of BIGBANG and founder of the label PEACEMINUSONE. A rare fusion of sneaker heritage, K-pop, contemporary fashion, and conceptual art.
